Dr. LeVoir is a general neurologist who completed her neurology residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, followed by her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Queensland-Ochsner in Brisbane, Australia and New Orleans, Louisiana.
During her residency training Dr. LeVoir gained extensive experience serving patients in the heart of Los Angeles. She completed subspecialty rotations at various institutions around Southern California including UCLA, USC, and Cedars Sinai. Her residency training emphasized high volume-high acuity care at a tertiary stroke center while also allowing for longitudinal outpatient neurologic care at a weekly continuity clinic. This diversity of experience has contributed to her interest in all aspects of neurological care and her passion for general neurology.
Dr. LeVoir was involved in resident education and delivered lectures spanning neuroanatomy to ethical dilemmas in neurology. She also presented an original abstract at the International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. She believes that learning is a life-long pursuit and brings this attitude to her management of complex neurological conditions.
She is a classically trained violinist and enjoys tennis, pickle ball, and all things outdoors. She can’t imagine living anywhere else other than sunny Southern California.
